Fresh from the farm, Covington, Louisiana grown Roses, Y'all.
This year we are trialing 8 (last week it was 7 but I found another I couldn't live without) varieties of garden roses for retail sales and floral design use. We purchased bare root from our wholesaler and planted in the fall. They will develop a hardy root system over the winter and should be in bloom late spring / early summer.
Selected for their long stems and vase life and ability to perform well in our unique hardiness zone, these ladies should produce an abundance of gorgeous blooms on vigorous and healthy plant stock. We are excited to give y'all a sneak peek at our vintage, lush beauties.
I also wanted to give a shout-out to the very nice lady that called me this summer looking specifically for yellow roses for a dear friend, thank you for the inspiration.
I'll keep you all posted on their progress as well as when they are available in our online shop.
Until then, Peace, Love and Flowers, Y'all! -K
