As we await the coming of the spring my heart aches for flowers. If my hands are not arranging, I am not entirely whole. Today I made lemonade. My decades old camellia trees are producing in abundance. I clipped some branches of buds and blooms, headed over to the gardenia bush for some added textural interest, and life just got a little bit sweeter in the Smith cottage. Foraging on your property for branches of interest, or blooming Camellias in the winter is a great way to cheer things up. Try it and send along your photos, I'd love to see what you come up with.
