As we await the coming of the spring my heart aches for flowers. If my hands are not arranging, I am not entirely whole. Today I made lemonade. My decades old camellia trees are producing in abundance. I clipped some branches of buds and blooms, headed over to the gardenia bush for some added textural interest, and life just got a little bit sweeter in the Smith cottage.
Foraging on your property for branches of interest, or blooming Camellias in the winter is a great way to cheer things up. Try it and send along your photos, I'd love to see what you come up with.
Peace, Love and Flowers, Ya'll,
Farmer, florist, lady with the feed bucket. Horses and flowers make my heart go pitter-patter. Or sometimes clippity-clop.
