I know I said the next post would be about spring 2019 wedding color trends, but as the saying goes "a woman has right to change her mind." I will still write that post, but here's a little spoiler - I don't think you have to follow any sort of trend. It seems I'm not alone in this, as one of this year's "trends" is to throw them out the window and go with what you want. When you buy local, if they are blooming, they are trending in-season. So, as an extension on my wildflower post, here we are. I got a little carried away while writing the last post discussing Prince Harry picking Meghan's flowers and before you knew it, my thoughts led straight to the keyboard as I touched on offering this to you as well. Not Prince Harry, of course (but, wow, wouldn't that be nice). Why not allow your husband-to-be to come to the farm and cut your bouquet flowers. With a little flexibility and a willingness to be available the week of your wedding when your blooms are ripe for the picking, I think we can do this! Or perhaps your mother, or both! We will even snap a digital photo or two, what a keepsake. Or, if you'd like professional photos of the event, speak to your photographer, they are welcomed. Please let me know your thoughts on the survey below. Yay or Nay? I happen to love the idea, and I think I'll take 50% of the vote and put mine in the Yay file as a perk. Please let me hear from you, share with your friends so I can get as much feedback as possible. Until next post, Peace, Love and Flowers, Y'all. - K
